Corrections Policy

MindBloom Daily corrects factual errors in public, as quickly as we can confirm them. This page explains exactly how we handle different kinds of changes and how you can report something we got wrong.
How to report an error
Email editors@mindbloomdaily.com with:
- The article URL.
- The exact sentence or claim you believe is incorrect.
- If you have one, a link to a source supporting the correct fact.
We acknowledge correction requests within two US business days and publish or decline (with an explanation) within five business days for most claims.
How we label changes
- Typos and broken links — fixed silently. No on-page note.
- Substantive factual changes — fixed in the article body, with a "Correction" note at the bottom of the piece stating what was changed and the date.
- Material framing changes — when a headline or lead paragraph changes in a way that meaningfully alters meaning, we publish an "Updated" note explaining the change.
- Significant rewrites or expansions — when an article is rewritten or expanded after publication, we add a note describing what was updated and when.
Retractions
If an article turns out to be fundamentally wrong — based on faulty sourcing, fabrication, or a misunderstanding that cannot be fixed with a correction note — we retract it. We replace the body with a public notice explaining what happened and we keep the URL live so the record is preserved. We do not silently delete articles.
Updates for evolving topics
Some topics (clinical guidance, public-health recommendations, product prices) change over time. When we substantially update an evergreen article, we change the "Updated" date at the top of the piece and, when the change is material, add a short summary of what's new.
Comments and reader content
Reader comments and community posts are moderated separately from editorial content. Reports about comments go through our community moderation team — see our community guidelines.
Accountability
We track every correction internally and review patterns each quarter to find systemic issues — a writer who needs more support, a topic area that needs tighter review, or a sourcing habit that needs to change. Trust is built by what we do after we get something wrong, not before.
